TRICK Drums, America's leading manufacturer of high technology percussion instruments, anncounced today that it has been chosen to build a custom drum kit for "OCC:The Band," the band is part of Orange County Choppers, subject of the popular TV show, "American Chopper."
"OCC: The Band" will feature the new drum kit in any appearances filmed for the show, which airs Thursday evenings at 9pm ET/PT on TLC, and in live performances at events around the country.
Known for its sonically superior machined aluminum drums, TRICK is also the leader in artistic graphic design for percussion instruments, specializing in high-end powder coating and cutting edge art, including the novel application of actual photgraphs to drum shells, heads and other pieces of drummer's gear.
"We are completely knocked out by the graphics that TRICK is able to put on drums," said Paul Teutul, Sr, President and CEO of Orange County Choppers. "As custom motorcycle builders, we have very high standards for combining art and machinery and, once we saw what TRICK could do, we knew they were the right guys to build the drum kit."
The new TRICK drum kit is accompanied by a band-themed bike built by OCC, and already aired as part of American Chopper. The drum kit and the bike will be similar in artistic design, following the theme created by OCC.

We're looking forward to rocking out those bike rallies the way TRICK drums have been doing in concert venues and recording studios for 20 years."
TRICK will be offering reproductions of the OCC drums, both snares and full kits, for sale to drummers everywhere through its own online store, shoptrick.com, and through music retailers, including Musician's Friend and Interstate Music.
"There's a pretty significant crossover between people who love drums and people who love bikes," added Dorfman, "and we'll have something pretty cool for all of them. We're so psyched about working with OCC that we've even had some talks about our own reality show, going behind the scenes at the shop and with the drummers that play TRICK drums...now, that would be a show!"
